Carolyn Hall, Marriage and Family Therapist and founder and president of Roundtable Counseling, Inc., has worked with teens for over twenty years in the following settings: inpatient psychiatric hospital, residential treatment centers, an outpatient treatment program and in a private practice setting. She is a well-respected therapist in the community and has been in private practice in Camarillo since 2000.
Shari Balbien, Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Director of Adult Programs, holds a Bachelor's degree in psychology from California State University, Northridge and a Master's degree in counseling psychology from California Lutheran University. Although well-versed in various client populations, Shari is particularly skilled at working with children ages 2-5 as well as their respective families. Shari recognizes the value in treating not only the young child or adolescent, but also incorporating the entire family system as every family member has an active role in creating positive changes.
Casey Simon, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, received his Bachelor's of Art in Film and Television Production from Loyola Marymount University, and his Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Cal Lutheran University. Casey is currently a doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology program at Pacifica Graduate Institute. He has worked with individuals ranging from 4 to 92 and has a particular interest in working with personality disorders.
Kristen Torres, Marriage and Family Therapist, earned her Bachelor's of Art in Psychology from San Francisco State University, and her Master's of Scsience in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from California Lutheran University. Kristen has worked with teens and adults in an inpatient psychiatric hospital, residential treatment centers, and outpatient treatment programs. Kristen places an emphasis on creating a safe and supportive space where you can explore and address your inner struggles in order to bring about personal growth that empowers you to control your life and enjoy positive, life-affirming relationships with others.
Sarah Pearl, Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, obtained a Master's of Science in Counseling Psychology from California Lutheran University, where she previously acquired two Bachelor's of Science degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology. A native to Thousand Oaks, Sarah’s passion and dedication for helping others is driven by the desire to give back to the community she grew up in. Sarah has experience working behaviorally with adults, providing intensive in-home services to families and continues to work with at-risk students in several schools throughout Ventura County.
Heather Defoort, Marriage and Family Therapist, earned her Bachelor's of Arts in Liberal Studies and Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Santa Barbara. Heather has worked in surrounding school districts as an MFT Intern with children and adolescents. Heather enjoys working with and witnessing people in the process of change and growth toward living happier, healthier and more meaningful lives.
Noel Purdy, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, received a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Psychology and a Master's of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology at California Lutheran University. Noel has previous experience providing school based counseling to children and adolescences with individualized education programs (IEP) in several Ventura County schools. She values working with clients in their process of exploration and growth.
Ria Redublo, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, received her Bachelor's of Arts in Communication Studies from California State University of Northridge, and her Master's of Science in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy where she specialized in trauma. Ria has worked with children, families, couples, adolescents, and adults working through depression, anxiety, mood disorders, relationship issues, and trauma. She is committed to providing a safe space to enhance personal health and growth. Currently, Ria is working with at-risk youth throughout Ventura County within a school based setting.
Sherry Pinchak, Billing Department, She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Biology from Syracuse University and a Master's Degree in School Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She studied Medical Billing and Medical Assisting for one year at Simi Valley Vocational School and has five years experience in medical billing.
Deanne Hernandez, Billing Department; medical billing, utilization review, and financial consulting at Roundtable Counseling. She has 25 years of billing experience and attends Oxnard College's Addictive Disorder Program. She has two sons, and enjoys going to the beach, watching water polo, traveling, and spending time with her family. She previously worked for Anthem Blue Cross.
Bre Webb, Office Manager, Handles intake procedures with new clients, updates our social media platforms, composes our newsletter, and assists in the cohesive functionality of our office. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications with a minor in business from CSUCI, and a Master's degree in Public Policy Administration from Cal Lutheran University.
